Certificate IV in Surveying

Do you want to become a Survey Assistant or Surveying Technician? This course will teach you logistics and operations techniques to create survey plans by using professional software. You will also be able to handle survey tools and equipment such as the GIS and GPS, to make complex calculations, to store data, and to manage the whole survey process.

Diploma of Surveying

Do you want to become a Mine/Engineering Surveyor, Survey Assistant or Surveying Technician? This course will upgrade your knowledge of the surveying industry to a professional level. You will be able to operate between any type of surveying tools and operating systems, to conduct elaborated engineering computations and to create complex survey plans and strategies. In addition, you will get a strong understanding of how to implement workplace health and safety standards.

WALL AND FLOOR TILING

Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling

This course will provide you with practical knowledge of all the aspects of wall and floor tiling such as waterproofing platforms and mosaic tiling processes. You will be able to develop a hands-on attitude with every type of materials like glass, slate, ceramic, and marble in order to protect and decorate internal and external environments.

The course requires each student to undertake a work placement in order to complete the Certificate. Further information will be provided at the orientation day.

You will gain essential skills and knowledge in laying bricks and blocks, levelling, veneer construction, feature walls and design arches and columns. You will also learn how to safely use power tools, scaffolding, and automatic and laser levels.
